Just ordered the materials to make a supply of the booms and will be getting 40cm Ti stakes to go with them. We should have them available in about a month.

Thanks, I'm looking forward to the release. In the meantime, I'm going to practice with it over the weekend. Have a safe and happy 4th of July.

I love the Tensa4 Hammock stand and the lightweight option of the solo conversion. I use both regularly.

Anyone have any advise or tips on staking out a solo to a motorcycle
I was thinking maybe using the front and rear wheel for anchors
Other end will be a tree.
Never tried the solo but want to...

Haven’t tried it, but could with heavier bike. On sidestand, pulling from stand side i presume. Anchoring t4 to bike is simple.

I’ve played with it coming off the back of the motorcycle that was on its center stand, still had to stabilize the pole with ground stakes but the soil was crappy and wouldn’t hold on there own.
If using a side stand be sure the soil underneath it is firm enough to hold the extra force. My side stand has a foot enlarger for more surface area.

    Tensa Solo trial #1

I am bit late for this post but I am stoked about my Tensa solo.
This used with a HH and an Outdoor Vitals UQ. I has to take down
a fence that held one side of my setup. I bought just the pole and
made my own UCRs and the orange screws from on line. Saved ~$60-70
and it was fun playing w/ amsteel for the first time. After a bit of fiddling
and diddling this what I came up with. Still trying to figure using an UQ.
