I use 36" bars for tandem hangs. These keep us apart except for the very occasional stray knee or elbow when one of us is shifting around. 32" would also work well, but with a bit more incidental contact, and a bit better tarp coverage.

Related - the Cloudburst is the ideal tarp for tandem hanging, especially with a pole mod.

I've got 2 sets of these and I'm really enjoying the multiple functionality that these provide. I think that the secret of these is the larger hole; which, accommodates double amsteel lines and works great with dyneema, Venom, mule tape, or UHMWPE straps. These are very similar in weight and size as the Dutchware whoopie hook; but, are not the same at all by any means. The Warbonnet Fishook can be a carabiner tree strap clip, a whoopie hook, a bridge hammock double whoopie hooks, a spreader bar option, attach to hammock loops or even used to hang your backpack. It's a winner for sure in my opinion! Here are some images next to my beloved Ducthware whoopie hooks just for comparison purposes.

I put a pair of these onto some of dutchs new spider webbing, 2- 15' straps and 2 of these weigh 2oz. Held my butt up nicely with a becket hitch

I need to pick up two sets of these. I'm wanting to start hanging with my son with a spreader bar at the head,and they're just so neat.

is that correct?
imo, it's a shame that you don't show them actually being used like that. you show it being hitched onto the end loop of a tree strap, but you don't actually show a shot of the strap wrapped around a tree and then hooked to itself using the fishhook. if that's an intended use case, maybe add a picture of that to the product page?

Very similar to Giovanni's Hammock Fan's "Anchors" series. The Strap Anchor to be exact, back in 2014.

I think Ditch purchased the rights, or (something) to the "Anchor" from Giovanni
the creator or the Anchor line. Buttinasling carried the anchors for awhile, then Dutch. Now new improved Warbonnet.

Now with some tweaking the design has improved.

Not sure what happened to Hammockfans.com.

I have a few pair of Anchors that I have used successfully for years without problems. Great for my bridge.
