These look to have promise. I'll keep an eye on these.

Thanks, I hope everyone will like them.

I also wanted to mention... If anybody is counting grams I believe at 3.0g these are the lightest hammock suspension hardware components of any kind available anywhere.

What is the purpose of the small hole at the tip of the hook? Just to save weight?

Fishhooks are awesome. Just replaced my RR dog bone buckles with them. Crazy light, and super simple.

They look interesting! I just watched the video, and it mentions using them for a tandem setup. So would the Ridgerunner spreader bar be the right thing for that, or would you recommend a different bar to create the tandem setup?

Honestly I am not sure what is the most common bar length and diameter for a side by side hang. You could certainly shorten the Head end RR pole with a $5 pipe cutter, but the smaller dia foot end might be long enough which i believe is 29"

I think 32" is what most are using so 29 should be fine.

Another vendor has spreader bars in 25", 32", and 36" though the 32" are the ones that are "most recommended" for side-by-side hangs. I think the other lengths are more for bridge hammock bars, not to say they couldn't be used for side-by-side hangs.

These things are really slick! I swapped one out for my carabiner as well as attached them for my whoopie suspension.
