One person going to his first group hang told his parents he was going to meet a bunch of axe murders out in the woods and camp out. He said his parents told him to have a good time.

Hi Loki, tell us some stories of your travels, when you hang with us at Yates.

I did not want to use your name in case I got the story wrong. Never let the truth get in the way of a great tall tale ( even if its true )AYE that was me!

Loki glad you will be there. Can't wait to see you again.
I might try for Friday, but I would be there super late
MadMardigan, you won’t be supper late, we’ll save some chow4U.
If you arrive late, we’ll hold lights for you and assist at your direction setup—and you can join in our ongoing liars contest at campfire. And then in AM you can participate in “Purdy Boil” contest—drink coffee with us and catch a nap after breakfast. Last fall there were outstanding breakfast cooks—don’t forget prizes awarded in multiple categories...
“Purdy Boil” contest both Friday and Saturday mornings.
Several categories hammocks as noted in post 158. Prizes awarded after our Tour of Hammocks
Bonus round-knot tie pop quiz!
Believe it or not, Yates is a laid back hang—all activities are 100% optional—We gotta leave time for lollygagging, lies, checking suspension (naps), and day hikes led by fearless navigators who’ve been lost here before.
