How far is the parking to the campsite? Should I bring my comfy chair or light weight chair?
Parking is close to the fire ring so comfy chair is in order. And distance from the car to the trees is close also. I tend to throw everything in the car and then use what I want when I get there. Heavy camping I guess.
Went Uwharrie last weekend. Started at Yates everything was clean. Did a hike in to Dutchman Creek and camped then back out. Trails were in good shape. Looking forward to March.

Toilet seat is cracked at hinge and only loosely held by remaining hinge (probably getting ready to break too)—-this can be disastrous after Tex Mex Saturday meal

I agree its a good idea to try and contact someone about it, but with the government shutdown, getting someone from the Forest Service (those in control of Uwharrie) might be tough.Needed Now
