Oh. I was offered a fresh pot of yellow rice and beans to bring down. Is Porto Rico close enough to Tex Mex?
Not sure on the flan. It may need to be eaten before Saturday. It’s a custard desert.

Close enough Gas!
Tks Taz, I missed being there and my ears were burning from everyone talking about me and not having my 1 bath shower Lol. Since I've had this mess I have heard story after story and many different cases and accounts of this (Vertigo) happening to folks after some type of sickness or viruses.
My rehab is working and I seem to be about 75% for now. I'm actually having an MRI today 2/11/19 so maybe the test results will show something or what needs to happen next. I'm still not back to work as of now but time will tell.
I hate it took you this long to recover and hope mine is quicker than that but it's good to hear that you're doing better. Hope to make it out this hang. So far it's a go unless they make me stay in for some reason.
GH, They are letting me drive for now. I thought for a while I may have to catch that bus or bum a ride with you. Lol I could hold half of all that extra gear you haul around if there isn't any room up front. Hahaha I'll promise not to eat chili beans if that will help. Lol
Hope to see everyone there (Fingers Crossed)

Well I have my new top quilt and tarp so I’m ready to roll! I’m trying to talk the spousal unit into making something I can bring for Tex-Mex night. It will already be cooked so will there be a way to reheat it? Looking forward to meeting y’all!
Muttley, maybe maybe maybe reheat on someone’s burners if not already in use.
Possible to reheat on campfire—risky, might burn bottom of pan, and it depends on what kind of fire we have—someone might add wood above your pan and some fall on top?
I’m gonna heat my offerings either on a grill on separate fire ring or on charcoal. I’ll be trying to make bean dip, bean&cheese dip, super dip, and guacamole. If I have enough room, I’ll share and also my stuff will be up first? Kinda like appetizers this might make time and room for main course cooks?
I’m positive there will be a way to reheat.
PG, I’m going to see if the wife will make her homemade enchiladas which I must say are kick ***. I’ve just been trying to figure out how to reheat without burning the the bottom.
Either a low heat or a double boiler
Can work around by putting frying pan on heat with water in fry pan and also a trivet or a couple butter knives in fry pan and set a top pot on top of trivet or butter knives. There is a word for this metal spacer placed in bottom pan and it escapes me. This will work like a double boiler in hopes of preventing burnt food.
Other ways to prevent burning reheated food—
Add oil like avocado oil or grape seed oil, both have high burn points
Add some water
Stir or turn food over more often
Use lower temperatures, wood fire or other fuel
Reheat only a short time
We have you covered on that Muttley.
PG,
Just watched a video of you describing several hammock knots. Quite informative. I look forward to meeting you at the hang.

I’m hoping for Spring to be at Yates, same time as we’re there.
In between telling lies and drinking coffee, I’ll demo knots from 1 and 2
And we will have prizes for best bling hammock&tarp rig when we have tour of hammocks
