Looks like I am all set for this one.
The last items I needed are shipped out today.
Did a practice camp out last night in the rain with the kiddos. Tent rain fly leaks like a sieve. So, that leaves bringing the kids next month as questionable unless I can get it fixed in time.
From PG's knot video I gave his soft shackle a try using the 1/4" nylon rope from my suspension. It worked well; I stayed off the ground last night.

It's been a while since i've been to Yates. I htink i'm going to try and make this trip! Someone let me know what to bring to help out!
"Eventually, all things merge into one, and a river runs through it. The river was cut by the world's great flood and runs over rocks from the basement of time. On some of the rocks are timeless raindrops. Under the rocks are the words, and some of the words are theirs. I am haunted by waters.”

Considering making a re-appearance. I need to see if I can move my philmont meeting to another weekend and logistics on getting there. I also need to restring my uq. We shall see. Would be nice to not have 40 boys and 15 leaders to manage. Maybe just my son and daughter.
Miyanc, hope to see you and Emerson and your daughter and all Scouts at Yates. Gather round campfire for chow and friends. Everybody hopes you can hammock.
We had a Scout troop last year, they did a HikeNCamp in piney woods.
Tsshaw, you tied it perfect and got your diamond knot trapped in shrinking loop—wonderful!
MrPickl, can you bring something you are or have reviewed. Lots of us haven’t seen new products.
Hickery, you and Peeeeetey can tell us tales of cold winds and frozen coffee pots turned into hot coffee.
Saturday’s group supper is Tex Mex, you can bring anything you want, including good ole Southern Grub.
Mainly I hope all cooks keep cold food chilled cold and hot food hot for our gizzard safety.
Ay Caramba!
