Yessir. Works pretty good. Also store it in your automobile.

Thanks, guys. I'm bummed I won't make it, but I'm very excited about getting everything ready to travel to China in March and we have a lot to get ready.

Weather looks like the temps will stay below freezing.Wind SW 7-10 mph(that's the real Killer).Remember to bring something insulated to keep your water from freezing.Fresh water we can get at the Ranger station on the way in.I have a large pot with lid we can keep water in by the fire.

oh boy. that looks pretty down right cold. should i prepare a spot to lay down in my van if i get too cold? actually i am more thinking that I might be okay at night but I am not sure i want to freeze all day long!

I should have some quilts and/or insulated hammocks that you could hang under your UQ. How many and what type depends on what it takes to keep Freia warm in her "dog cave" which will hang under my hammock. It's under construction now. Last night was the first successful test (at 32°). That is, she didn't try to climb into my hammock at 2 am. Tonight we'll be all the way outside, so maybe 10 degrees colder. Sunday 1/20 will be the test - single digits expected here.

My girl insists on sleeping in the hammock with me. She butts her head into the side of the hammock until I let her in. I don't mind when it's cold. She's a great hammock warmer!

It is a good time with good folks. Bring extra gear to stay warm with. We are right at our vehicles so weight is not a concern.
