The Turtledog Christmas Tree

Because of a very recent divorce, I am in transition right now so I do not have a Christmas Tree. I bought my daughter a Trail Lair for Christmas in Neon pink and built her a Turtledog stand so she can work on hanging it and laying in it inddors before venturing out. I decided to decorate one of the tripods and put the presents under it for when she comes over for "our" Christmas celebration. It is really cheesy but I'm hoping she likes her hammock themed Christmas. And it will be quite the surprise when she learns she can hang from the Christmas tree.

Hey, it's dual use and thus eligible for UL status, right? Cheesy? Maybe, but hanging from the Christmas tree is uber cool.

Sorry to hear of the divorce, and I hope all remains civil as can be between you guys. Tree looks good to me. I've always wondered if someone had done something like this as the same idea had crossed my mind a time or 2.

Sorry the divorce has you in a tough spot. However, most kids are not as shallow as we think they are. A super-d-duper martha stewart inspired tree may be a stunning beauty to look at, but a creative, heart-felt one like yours is one she will love and remember. Great job!
