    Hammocks, Hammocks, and more Hammocks

The Dream Hammock Sparrow, The Dutchware Chameleon, and The Warbonnet Blackbird XLC are three hammocks that are frequently talked about. And for good reason. They’re all exceptionally well made and their versatility sets them apart from the competition. I go over some of the features that make these hammocks well worth the purchase, and compare how they stack up against one another!

What a cool way to talk about hammocks! I'm sure others will be as jealous as I am about your hammock squadron. And I liked the down looking shots of lying in the hammock. That perspective explains better than just words how to place one's body in a hammock.
    "...the height of hammock snobbery!"

Yeah, I thought trying to compare these models would be beneficial to people on the fence as to which one to go with. The short answer is “any one of them!” They’re all great!

Thanks for reviewing - great seeing that many hammocks reviewed in one video. One question for you - I've never had a hammock with the tie outs (Currently just use a Hexon Netless as I don't need bug protection here). What's the value of having those tie outs vs not having those? Like, is it worth 'upgrading' to a hammock that has the tie outs vs using just a standard netless?

I have 3 hammocks with tie outs and I do not use them on any of my gathered end hammocks. I guess it's a personal preference but I simply do not see the need and definitely do not need yet another thing to trip on.

I find it useful because the quilt I use is from UGQ. They have an exposed piece of shock cord that allows the tie out hooks on my Dream Hammock to be locked in on this shock cord and that keeps the quilt in place.
So I find it useful for this purpose.
You can see it in this vid at 4:40:

Ha! Totally agree with less stuff to trip over! Does it help with any sway or are they really just there to help spread the hammock out?

I'm anti tie outs except they're useful to attach gear slings our sunset saddle bags. Seems like a good easy investment to future modularity regardless of any utility from pulling out fabric.

Agreed. They do serve a purpose. Even though I don’t use them for what they were originally designed to do!
