Enjoyed the pretty scenery. Some very nice shots. Contrasted with your Subway restaurant jump which made me guffaw (GOL)?

From experience, my buddies and I found Little Debbie Oatmeal Creme Pies are a good extreme weather snack. Don't freeze at 0F and don't melt in warm canoe trips.

Thanks for sharing and keep shooting video.

Awesome video! That’s some cold camping around here. (TX). Wish it got that cold.

Thank you. Very good video, and trip report.

It's not easy getting everything in a backpack for those conditions. And, even a chair at that.

A small piece of Refletics bubble insulation, about 24"x24" does wonders for cold butt. And down pants, of any price range are worth every penny.

Great video! Very interesting discovery regarding the underquilts. I think I would have set it up the same way with the warmer orange quilt near my body. I'm glad that was an easy fix to switch the quilts around.

Snow Stakes work great for tarping out if you get to the campsite while there is a little more sun. Then you can do the melt and freeze method better. glad you were able to improvise. Thanks for sharing.

Believe it or not the bug net does allow for retaining a bit of your heat. I use my bug net in the winter.

Excellent video! As good or better than anything offered on the 200-channel satellite feed. Thanks for taking us along. It's dedicated content providers like you that have enabled my family to cancel the DishTV subscription without regret.

    Jeremy,

Thanks for the video. I enjoyed it.

If the Wookie is compressing the down, on the Hammock Gear, 0 Degree, Underquilt, you can extend the length of the UQ suspension, by making 2 loops out of cordage. You then larks head each loop onto each end of the hammock suspension. This extends the length of the hammock suspension, adding more sag to the Wookie.

Conversely, if you need to decrease the length of the hammock suspension, you could just loop the Underquilt Suspension over the attachment area between the tree suspension and hammock ends. This will take in the slack and suck the Underquilt up to the hammock.

Shug shows both of the above practices, on some his videos. Perhaps he will chime in and post a link or two. There has also been a few postings here, on the forum, with pictures, to clarify the techniques.

    Have fun.

    Merry Christmas.
