I bought a pack of these in both black and red to put on my and my sons non-HG underquilts, etc. They are small at 1 1/2 inches long, but I have had no issues so far.

As the customer service rep for Hammock Gear, I can confirm the label is at the head end of our underquilts

I have a first generation Incubator (Stormcrow tag!). Do those older quilts have a head end?

I still have a 0˚ Crowsnest (what became the Phoenix) and that did not, to my knowledge, have a head/foot end - just a little rectangle of downy goodness

Not sure about the Incubators of that era though.

Hmm. Paging @stormcrow on this one! I would say if it has a shape to it at all, then the end that appears wider is the head end. Shoot me an email at [email protected] with pics and I should be able to help.

This is a dumb question, but just to be sure, is this the same for hammocks? Tag is head end? I took the carabiners off and think I got them mixed up.

on the hammock gear hammocks the end you lay doesn't matter since it is a symmetrical hammock

The same would be true for many of the asym hammocks out there. Of course, there are exceptions and, being in the Hammock Gear subforum, no point in mentioning other brands!
