    Hammock Gear..They need to switch to metel Sbiners. Plastic ones don't last

    I think that's the point of the plastic ones...they rated for 10 lbs. It's the safety fuse...think of those times you almost sat in your UQ vs in the hammock. You put a heavier duty carabiner, then your weight is gonna test the stitching, the fabric, and the shock cord...which gonna give out first?
