You can, I wouldn't.
I've paddled the Wading in half that flow (in a two *big* man canoe) and swore off it. A Kayak would be better. The water's cold.

I'm out for Friday night but still in for Saturday and the CdGdG. I'm making Chicken Gumbo - far from traditional but I like it.
I drove home from Northern Vermont last night - packed up after lift close then half speed most of the way in freezing rain and sleet. Half a dozen vehicles in the guardrail or off the road helped me keep my speed in check. I just don't have it in me to turn around and head down tomorrow. See all y'all on Saturday.

I believe that was forum member jhulbe. I think the cold temps might have gotten the jump on him, so hopefully he made the best choice for himself at the time, and got out alright.
