My fleece liner gets plenty of use, at home and on the trail!

Perhaps use an UQP that is made to hold a pad like the one from 2QZQ, Just insert a pad or your favorite fleece, jacket, etc.
I've used a USGI wool blanket folded into thirds and placed underneath my sleeping bag down to probably 50 degrees. Worked fine... the wool has enough density that it did not compress at all. I didn't use it that much because i made a Gemini underquilt and switched to that for the most part. However, i really want to push my Gemini down into the single digits and you've reminded me that my wool blanket will probably get me very close. Thanks!
