My fleece liner gets plenty of use, at home and on the trail!

Perhaps use an UQP that is made to hold a pad like the one from 2QZQ, Just insert a pad or your favorite fleece, jacket, etc.

It was 17* last night and my Wookie alone was fine except for a cold spot that I didn’t migrate the down well enough too. Just bought the Dutch fleece insert last week so that along with my under quilt protector should get me into the zero temps I hope!

Hey, thanks for that Vanhalo. I've got a Hudson River and I'm always interested in other's experiences with it and how low it can be pushed and what equipment was used to do so.

I've used a USGI wool blanket folded into thirds and placed underneath my sleeping bag down to probably 50 degrees. Worked fine... the wool has enough density that it did not compress at all. I didn't use it that much because i made a Gemini underquilt and switched to that for the most part. However, i really want to push my Gemini down into the single digits and you've reminded me that my wool blanket will probably get me very close. Thanks!
