Yea, unfortunately it looks like I'll be too busy to stay I still might try and come by on Saturday for a bit, if anything to try some of this delicious-sounding food and regale Gunner with stories from the Foothills trail. Idk what time I'll be down there, but I may try for Sat afternoon. I've got to try and see y'all sometime this spring, as I won't be able to make the April hang either

Bobo, good luck on your engineering, before you know it, we’ll cross paths again

Gunner, I hope you feel better soon
Please call me after 900am—hope to be rolling by 900 That should help me be on time, just in time 4Ham Sandwiches. We can teach Sam to read by showing him pictures of some of his favorite foods, then we can combine pictures with letters and pretty soon Sam will be yalls little genius
I think early writing started with pictures and stylized pictures, becoming pictograms and changing into letters
I was there in class that day when something came up and they called me to the office—I don’t even know how they run that place since I’ve graduated to hammokCollegy

I hope you can at least visit and share a meal with us and I would like to hear about your adventures on the Foot Hills Trail.

Sams a genius. He's the biggest smart A$$ we ever had! Saw us loading up cars, so he brought his bowl and laid it by the front door! He heard us talking about ham sandwiches and thought we said Sam sandwiches. Cause you know everything must go to the lab for testing!

SteelPlayer, I got stuck in red mud, real dumb move. You gonna get to Medoc B4 me—looks like you gonna get my favorite trees—hahaha
Good thing is, those trees don’t care where I hang hammock and neither do I
I’m gonna be late for lunch today and I’ve got ham sandwich jazz...
I’ll give Gunner a new arrival time when I get rolling

Definitely will not be arriving Friday night. Will likely just spend all day Saturday and leave at night fall. Will bring something to contribute for lunch. If anyone forgot something and needs me to bring it, just post on the thread. Looking forward to seeing everyone.

I’m gonna stay here at Medoc Mountain. I slept warm but my toes are cold just walking around and I don’t have the correct footwear and clothing to go to Grayson Highlands. And I’m not tough enough and or fool enough to risk being too cold 4me...
Good news is there is extra ham sandwich fixins and extra sweet potato casserole and “authentic recipe Daniel Boone trail mix” for all to share
I will not lie—Phantom Chickened Out and will skip Grayson Highlands this weekend and stay down here in the “balmy” weather in Medoc Mountain

Macdiver car is unlocked and motor running
Breaking camp now and if I remember, will post when rolling—no man left behind
There are so many interesting hammock campers with stories to tell, it’s fun to get campfire smoke and true lies and coffee with a fun group of crazy hammockers
Thank you Gunner&Terminator and PappyAmos, I had a great time hanging around with Old Pros and Noobies alike
