I don't think it can be a hammock, but can be an UQ, or blanket used as an UQ. In fact, I just got one at Costco as a gift for my wife, but seems like it could be rigged to attach under a hammock. Talking car camping, not gonna hike with it.
Though, you could have an insulated hammock where the outer layer of insulation is heated, making the insulation way efficient. Could probably take 30 degree insulation way down in the teens with it.
"I wonder if anyone else has an ear so tuned and sharpened as I have, to detect the music, not of the spheres, but of earth, subtleties of major and minor chord that the wind strikes upon the tree branches. Have you ever heard the earth breathe... ?"

Won't be long and there will be one available...
Maybe a heated insert for a footbox or for your body core? Something like the clothing that cordless tool manufacturers make.
a few years ago i was in canada at a spa mid winter, they had heated hammocks there. they were pluged into mains power, all in one construction, fleese inner nylon outer and attached top / under quilt, both powered. was nice laying in them in -30c
Ha! I wonder if dewalt will start making underquilts!
or a electric tree...You could plug it into a current bush
I am still 18 but with 52 years of experience !
Another approach is to work on a 2 person hammock...solves not only the warmth problem but a few others as well!
