    I use a suspension/stake roll.

In the roll are six y-stakes, two Ti shephard hooks, tree straps, back up RL's, one extra Z-Line guy line and one each of zingit and amsteel dogbones.

Grab one of my hammocks, grab a tarp and grab the stake roll... Never leave home without the items I need.
Yes, my pack weighs 70lbs, but it's all light weight gear....

Do you have pics on how you roll your stakes and tarp together? Where do you put your tarp in your pack, outside pocket?

Where do you store your suspension.

SealLine makes some great sacks and dry bags! I use their drybags for quilts and cinch sacks for my tarp, hammock, suspension and more. As for sizes, a 15L drybag will fit a quilt well, a 5L cinch sack will fit a hammock or a tarp well, and a 2.5L cinch sack for hammock straps. They have the standard models, the Blocker, and the lighter models, the BlockerLite. I went with the BlockerLite for the hammock suspension.

I like to store my tarp ridgeline with my hammock suspension. These are the first things out when setting up, so it’s nice to have them separated. It also keeps the sap on the straps from getting on anything else.

Ever since getting sap on my tree straps, I’ve kept them in the outer mesh pocket on my Arc Haul near my tarp and a few other things that I think could get the rest of my gear wet and/or dirty.

I'll post some pics of the suspension roll. The three components (tarp, hammock and suspension roll) are separate.

I have been experimenting with snake skins and thus far are undecided if I prefer them or oversize noseeum black bishop bags for the tarp. Either way, where the tarp goes depends on the weather. I prefer to keep in my pack at the top with the food bag. Hammock is the last item to go in the compactor bag. If the tarp is wetted out, it goes in the outside stretch pocket. The suspension roll goes in side pocket with my cook kit/fuel & tarp pole.

Thanks. That’s prey much how I pack mine as well, except I keep my tarp in the stretch pocket full time.

No worries, that’s what we’re here for. A bishop bag is like a regular stuff sack but it had a hole at the bottom or on the side near the bottom where one of your continuous loops for your hammock comes out. This way you can deploy your hammock much like using a double ended stuff sack, except only one end opens up.

I know Shug shows it in a couple of his videos I’m just not sure which ones.
