Just noticed 10D material for custom Wooki and Yeti

I must have been partially blind or not curious enough, but have just noticed custom underquilt options by Warbonnet Outdoors.

Has anyone purchased a custom 10D or 15D underquilt instead of the standard 20D underquilt?
If so, what are your impressions on its worthiness?

They just added this so I doubt anyone has it yet. I'm sure their fabrics are top notch, per usual. Can't wait to get a 10d RR quilt from them!

Well Argon 67 is 10D and Argon 90 is 15D. So there's plenty of feedback on those regarding denier (thickness in a sense)

Yes, 10d and 15d fabrics are used quite a lot! Just as Argon line , there is the Membrane10/15 line that some other vendors use as well. All really well tested and used by most of our vendors! I'm digging the WB purple 10d.

Sweet. Time for researching before BF shopping.

Does anyone know if the 10D is ripstop or not?

The 10D nylon quilt fabric is a smooth, non-ripstop pattern while the 15D nylon quilt fabric is a ripstop pattern.

Thanks, do you have experience with it? Any thoughts on its durability and wind resistance relative to the 15d and 20d in an underquilt?

10D nylon seems much more delicate in the sense that you would absolutely not want to let the quilt come into contact with the ground/pine needles/ rocks etc. DWR coating is very similar in comparison to my 20D ripstop nylon mamba top quilt. As far a wind resistance comparison, the 10D nylon seems just as windproof as the 20D nylon, although I have not had a chance to test this theory.

Probably not the most helpful, but I'm happy with my 10D UGQ on both sides of UQ and TQ.

I wish I'd gotten a Wooki instead of a Zeppelin because I hate the shock cord, but I like the 10D...
