I didn't realize some TQ's didn't have draft collars till this thread to be honest

I experienced it first hand a couple of times, how important it is. My current TQ is black so if I unpack when it's dark, I sometimes have it flipped inside out. So when I cinch it down around my neck I immitately find out if it's flipped due to the lack of a proper seal from the missing draft collar when it's flipped.

Just the name alone is awesome, Bushwack Scandinavian Diamondback! I’d be lying if I said I am not jealous.

Someone you'd want on your side in a barfight.

Got my 20° DB with sewn footbox in Autumn Orange (15d). This is my new favorite design! I love the footbox. It’s pretty impressive how the seams that are usually behind the calves are completely hidden with no sewn thru seams. The gusset right behind the knees is well done too and placed perfectly just shy of the knees. If I turn the quilt inside out, it looks virtually the same! It looks like it was built to last and look amazing at the same time . Definitely another classic WB product with all the usual clever design choices.

Anybody got thoughts on width? Ima large-ish guy (50R), but a back sleeper that doesn't move around much. Is a 50" quilt sufficient?

I’m a 44R guy, 178#, and my Diamondback is 55” wide. I’ve used it in my hammock and on the ground on my Xlite, and I’m glad I went with wide. The weight difference between standard width and wide is negligible.

Pretty excited about this new product. Relatively new to this forum and I really appreciate all you guys who contribute. Great place we have here.

Looking at some of the add-ons and wondering:
    1) As I understand it, overfill doesn't make the bag warmer, just holds that rating better on long trips. This is something I would like, it it is true?
    2) Anyone with first-hand experience about the better durability of 20D?
    3) If you go to ground, with the elastic taut in back, how hard is it to get out of this thing to pee?

Brandon, it looks like you've done it again. Beautiful product. Looks like a piece of art.

I have had a few 20d and 10d quilts before. This Diamondback is my first 15d. Given I am touching my topquilt a lot, I appreciate a fabric that feels nice and I prefer the feel of 15d the most. I also thinks it’s fairly easy to baby a topquilt, just wear soft clothes without hardware and use a zippered bug net to keep it in the hammock and use a stuff sack before sticking it in your pack. But it is a fact that 20d is more durable, but I think it’s far less noticeable than the difference between 10d and 20d, just as you might have expected.
