33 degrees now...Mid 20s tonight....snug as bug in my Greylock 4. The Hudson River top quilt and fleece liner are more than capable of handling the job. Winter Haven all buttoned up. The net pulled back on the XLC. JRB Hoody on my head. Down sleeves in a ZPacks fleece pillow behind me head. Ankles & heels resting on a trail sit pad in my foot box. Chemical Hottie warmer on my chest. One tie down on the XLC shelf side staked out. Just a slight rock to the ship. Single Thermal layer. Possum socks It’s go time.

Definitely will have a Greylock on the list down the road. I ordered a full set of the multifunction quilts last week, so I’m out of money at the moment, lol!

At the risk of asking a stupid question, are you making a new setup each evening?
I wish I went with the mesh Catch All instead of silnylon. Mine works, but then I have to fight with the air when packing.
I have the Greylock 4, but I had to modify it back to the old design and add the prusicks. I found that when I tried to adjust the main suspension, the 'gather' suspension moved, and vice versa. I'm certain it is my own shortcomings and lack of experience, but nonetheless, the secondary suspension method works better for me.
Elmer003, Are using the GL4 with a bridge hammock now? I just noticed your profile.
I have spent more than a few many nights in the Greylock 4 now. In fact I have not slept in the Greylock 3 (old design) since I received the GL4.
So the entire winter season....which is ongoing for a few more weeks.
I have seen no need to add a secondary suspension.
There are times when i do not have it cinched right that gives the impression that the new suspension isn't working but a little adjustment fixes that right good.
One other note.....i never take it off my hammock. I lazy tube it and then it is taken down and gently thrown in my gear closet then redeployed again the next night.
My point is...I am not spending a lot of time fiddling with the GL4 UQ. It seems to be as reliable as the GL3 with a secondary suspension (Triangle Thingies).

So the moral of the story is...old design requires a secondary suspension.
New design was meant to eliminate the secondary suspension. It works for me but may not work for all.
Also, JRB said they would modify the suspension returning it to the old design if requested.
