We camped over night at Emerald Pond on the Browns Hollow trail this past weekend. https://www.hikingupward.com/GWNF/BrownsHollow/
I would recommend this hike. We woke up Sunday morning and it was 19 degrees. I stayed warm in my JRB 3-season quilt set which is the
Sierra Sniveler and Mnt Washington 3. I also used their quilt liner which I had not used before. Prior to around 3am I did not really need it
but then got a touch chilly and put it into action. There were some young "adults" there from Fairfax that were nice enough but they left a mess. Toilet
paper, candy bar wrappers, ear plugs all over the place, this type of behavior makes me sick and ruins the experience for the people that camp
there next. We tried to pick up everything except for the TP. I think they got very cold as they left at 5am. Anywho great trail pretty steap climbs and beautiful.
Other gear used: Dutch Chameleon and Superfly tarp.
