The zipper pulls on the inside have been fixed. Received mine yesterday and it has the same inside as out.

Any ideas when this changed? I'm expecting Santa to bring one, tonight! I hope he got the updated zippers.

I don't but it would be easy for them to ship you a couple if you find them lacking. They just slip onto the zipper.
