I've actually tested paracord stretch by weighting it and letting it deadhang overnight outside.
11% longer after stretching.
Not a good ridgeline material if the point is to achieve "consistent hang"
I have been using a hammock for a few years now and have never heard of a ridge line. I am going to give it a try next weekend. This should be fun.
