Looks like it was fun! I wish I could have joined y'all, but before this week i'd only managed to sleep through the night once in a hammock, and I didn't want to try to meet new people while tired and cranky! so I did a Same Date / Different Place (SD/DP) hang in solidarity and actually managed to sleep through the night!! and I'm even making chili. I hope to be comfortable sleeping in a hammock by the time the next group hang comes around so I can join you all then!

Had a great time! Chili was hearty and warm. Perfect for a winter campout. It was nice to meet new folks and see some old friends again. Love camping in the cold. The ‘snow’ fall inside the the hammock top cover was an added bonus. Oh and lunch was fantastic.

Thanks to all who attended to make this another great Capital Chili Burt hang. I don’t know any better way to stay warm than to eat warm foods. Chili + Burgers n Beer can’t be beat. See you guys and girl next time in the woods!

Sure hate that I missed the hang, it looks like the weather was perfect! Maybe the timing will be better for me next year, this one was going to be a last minute trip and just didn’t work out. I wanted to check out the towpath for a bicycle trip this fall. I enjoy riding the rail to trails . I’m glad you guys enjoyed!
