Which is the preferred parking place for overnight? The lot by Anglers, or the one at Carderock?
I believe Carderock parking is closer about .4 miles the Angler is 1.2 miles.
Parking at Carderock is closer as WS said. When you arrive at Carderock, turn right and drive all the way to the last lot. There is a small cut through to the towpath. Take a left on the towpath from the cut through, and walk the half mile until you reach Marsden Tract group campsite A.Originally Posted by Wilderness Seeker

Hey guys, it looks like I will not make it this weekend after all. My son called today and said that his company had to reschedule his work week from Thursday to next Tuesday. I was looking forward to meeting you and being able to get away for a few days. Maybe I will be able to make it next year!
