    Smile Hi from France!

    Hi to all,

Have been reading this forum occasionally for some years, time to join as suggested by famous Shug.

Not much hanging/camping in France, mostly did in Japan, so far until -10°C (14°F). The hot wine and the camp fire were more than welcome!

    Cheers...

Glad you joined up, hahnnock. -10°C (14°F) is an impressively low temperature to be hanging. You must have some good gear to get down to those temps. Hope you post some more.
    Cheers.

    Sidney,
The quilts were a mix of Go Outfitters and Sierra Madre Research ones... forgot the details. The problem came mostly from the cold air I had to breath, and the condensation of the exhausting air on the top quilt.
I like 'good' quilts because I do not wear much in the hammock.

    StrungUpNewfoundlander,
Bonjour! Ecosse is a loooovely place!

Where do you live in France ?
If you are close to Paris, I'll be presenting a Vercors winter hammocking trip in a bar next Wednesday for a hikers community. Get in touch if you are intrested!
