    Hello,

I am new to the forum and say this thread. Unfortunately I won’t be able to attend the full weekend, I have a week off of school before and will be up there February 15-19th. Hopefully I’ll be able to push it an extra few days and hang with everyone. Sounds like a blast!

    Okay, 2 weeks and counting....

Getting excited to be out again in the woods with friends and winter weather. Just not too much weather!

Packing lists being reviewed, food list making final decisions, gear all checked and repacked. Almost wish it was this weekend. Felt rather cooped up with the weather this past week, and with today's ice storm, bleh....

Hope everyone is having fun preparing and planning for a great adventure at Green Timbers 2019. Remember to sign up on the google DOC so we can expect you and look for you during the weekend.

Update the DOC if you plan on coming.... >>> GREEN TIMBERS FEB 21-24, 2019

I know it's kind of early to start checking out the weather forecast for GT, which is 2 weeks away, but I couldn't resist. Lets hope this holds true.

This weekend I'll start getting my gear organized and work on my group food prep: sausage & peppers with pasta for thursday night plus a couple more mesquite bbq pork loins w/tortillas for snacking. I've also got a pound of "highland grog coffee" from Brew Moon, my favorite coffee shop in Caseville, MI. Can't wait to get out there for GT5!

Good solid winter weather! I am definitely worried about that dust and dander forecast, though.

Hehe, Dust and Dander Forecast indeed....

That forecast looks just right, good for fires and sleeping with all the down snug and warm.

Get hungry everytime I think about the food choices and what we had last year to sample.

Hurry up and wait is word of the day, bleh.

If all goes as planned I’ll be at green Timbers for the week this year and there is no shortage of snow.

So how difficult is it to find the campsite in the dark?

I'm debating on coming up Friday after dark, or waiting till Saturday morning.
    Never been to GT before
