    Gluttony 2018: The tradition continues...

Another successful Gluttony Hang is over, the gear is unpacked and now it's time to reflect on the weekend. This year we had about 15 people, plus a few that wanderered in to spend the day. I want to thank Ed (Turkey) for securing the host site at his father in laws property, plus building a grill/cooking station that is a work of art. As always, food was always plentiful and every meal had reminded me of "Lord of the Rings" with first breakfast, 2nd breakfast, 1st lunch, 2nd lunch and so on. There was lots of bacon, hot tents, gear tours, pork steaks, omeletes, stew, chili, bbq chicken & brisket, sugary desserts, pies and coffee.

Post your pics and stories to help spread the word of Gluttony 2018, and help fill in my memory! Note, Gluttony 2019 will be November 1-3, but anyone who wants to show up on Thursday, October 31st is welcome!

Thanks again to all that attended and helped make this year's hang another success!

Another great time in the outdoors.

Great friends, good food and colorful stories.

Outstanding camp, food was awesome, good company.
I learned a lot, already planning my next hot tent, big thanks to all who made this possible.

Bacon wrapped cinnamon rolls, courtesy of Gregori.

Fyi, I estimate there was at least 30 pounds of bacon consumed this year. So much, in fact, that I'm sure some people ended up taking the extras home. .

What? Take bacon home? That seems against everything the Gluttony Hang stands for.

Lots of fun around the fire talking hammocks, among other things. Can’t wait until the next one guys. Thanks Ed and Dave for coordinating and to everyone else for all the amazing treats.

My favorite gear addition this year was the griddle for Ed’s amazing omelets and the bedtime cheese burgers.

My favorite treat was Greg’s bacon wrapped cinnamon rolls. A great replacement for the missing bacon cupcakes. Well played my friend!

Now, time to starve myself for a week to fit my pants again.
