Yeah I just went out for 2 nights, 27° but felt even colder. It snowed on and off most of the day Friday.

Totally concur. VB doesn't preclude insulation.

Stephenson/Warmlite is now located in CO and (I think) a niece is running the business.

For an alternative, I use a Lightheart Gear rain suit but normally I don't use VB until temp is below 20°F or so.

I picked this up about 2 years ago and never tested it until this March. With lows only around 30 it was WAY to warm. I really wanted to test it so I tried it anyway. I only lasted 45 minutes, not even close to falling asleep. Should be a decent VB barrier though; the only exposed skin is hand and face. It has built-in booties.

Of course we had to get a photo op during the day to joke around...right before the covid-19 thing was a thing in the US. Joke's on us. Crazy what 2+ months can do.

As ridiculous as it looks, I still can't write this one off until I try it around 0°. But I still think my VB quilt liner is the way to go since I've had a few comfortable nights tested so far.

It has been fun digging through these older posts. Too funny! I too was thinking of trying a tyvek hazmat suit for my vapor barrier. I would love to know how your suit worked out for you.

    Hey all,

Spent the last three days reading and ruminating on this vapor liner idea. May jump into testing/using this out. However, I cant seem to find the Equinox Vapor LIner anywhere. Have you all recently located a source for this product or a product thats similar?

Thank you in advance for any and all help.

    Bob

Check Zpacks for stock levels, they used to carry it.
