I was really hoping to make it again this year, had a great time last year, but I'm going to have to sit this one out. Just left my job (today) to work for myself hopefully this will mean more hang time altogether but it's my busy season right now. Hope everyone has a great weekend!

We will have fun as we always do no matter what the weather brings.
I can promise there will be not black fliers right now.
I would suggest that everyone bring your rain gear and an extra set of dry clothing.

Margaret and I have been getting everything ready that we dared to for tomorrow.
We set up seven hammock stands in the same location in the woods for demo hammocks. We have not set any demo hammocks in them yet.
We have two vendor tents set up to cook under.
We have tables ready to unfold and set up.
We ran a water hose up the community area for water.
I am not even going to mention how much more cleaning we have done in the woods with all the down limbs and dead treas I cut.
We have had a herd of 8 to 10 deer coming through hammock hill every evening all winter. I doubt that will happen with everyone here this weekend.

Here are a few things I can use help with tomorrow.
Setting up the demo hammocks and cleaning up the ground around them.
Hanging the lights on the trails through the woods.
Possibly hanging up a tarp to sit under in the rain. I don't know how we are going to do it but maybe someone can come up with something. I have a 10x16 tarp. If anyone has any ideas or has a tarp setup, please bring it.

Have fun out there this weekend! Wish I could make it, but I'm away visiting the kids in Florida.

What was the address you gave last year on Rocky Knoll Rd? It was close I remember. I probably have it in my GPS but haven't looked yet.

Sorry gang Amanda is not feeling any better, maybe worse. And I know exactly how bad she is feeling because I was sick with it last week. I was hoping she wouldn't get it. It's all my fault.
You guys have fun, stay dry, and enjoy all that delicious food! We"ll see you at the next one.

Harvey will miss you. By the next hang though we should have the full 14" diameter steel cook top done though. Take care and get well all!

It was an amazing weekend with new friends. Can’t thank Rick and Margaret enough for opening their field, trees, and warm /dry garage.
I’m looking forward to photos in the recap thread.

Many thanks to you Rick, and Margaret for hosting this hang. I hope we can do this again next year. BTW, the warm garage was great for Friday night.
