No worries I set up the "guest hammock" in the back yard.
    But it's cold out there.
I left you a barrel full of scrap wood, Harvey will keep you warm!
Perfect!!! Ironically though, my mom wants to try out a hammock big time!!!! 77 yrs old and she won't shut up about it.

That's great! My Mom wont even open a window. It's either too cold, too hot, too humid, too dusty, too much pollen, too bright, too wet, she has to "brave" the outdoors even if it's beautiful and 75 degrees.

So bring her to the hang and she can try some hammocks out!

She's going to Machias to check out the college there with Sammy, but not a bad idea to bring her to a hang!

Harold Parker would be a good hang to start with.

I would not recommend canoeing the Saco this weekend during the hang because it is still high. It is like eight feet higher than what it normally is.

Is everyone still in for the hang this weekend?
It looks like we are going to get some rain.
I have two small vendor tents we can use for cover. We can also try to hang a tarp. If it gets real bad we can go in my garage (messy) and light the wood stove and stay warm in there.

I'm in. I'm bringing a pop-up shelter with walls at least for cooking or whatever we need it for. Hoping they get the weather wrong again though.

I also have an easy-up. But sadly Amanda is a bit under the weather. I plan on coming, but am gonna do whats best for her. It's a 6 hr drive for us. That means driving up in the rain, setting up in the rain, cooking in the rain....yadda, yadda, only to drive home in some decent weather. Also, just wondering how muddy that field will get with everyone driving on it? Rick, are you thinking of a rain date?
