You can try reaching out to David Bain, the organizer through their Facebook page.
Just FYI, I've been getting my tickets online for years no issues. David & the many volunteers who make this non-profit event happen every year use the ticketing service just to simplify the process.

Thanks KWK, I will look into contacting him.

I realize for something like this, many great people do it largely for the love of the sport ... it is the service they use which collects the person and financial information and basically the terms we have to agree to ..... which seem to say they can use the information as they see fit.

If they added PayPal ... all the personal data and credit card info wouldn't be required, it would be reduced to just an email. I am just a little sensitive to handing out credit card info with security info and such on a general site.

Congrats on the new hammock. Those Little Shop of Hammocks look to be very nice.
Let me know what gear you are short on and I should be able to hook you up.

Thanks again for the offer LMB. I have all I need they could just use improvements. I've slept in the minus teens with less than I have now.

Hopefully you guys get some winter weather next week! I've got my father-in-law's 80th party, otherwise I'd come out and test my gear/fortitude. Here's hoping for a midweek blizzard and winter wonderland weekend for you guys!

Way off topic and season... but for those of us with kayaks (and aging bodies), Amazon.ca is selling the Thule Hull-a-vator kayak lifts for over half off (usually $600+ now on for $300 cdn).

    https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B00R6SBJO0

Didn't want that deal to go by without a mention.

That's a great deal for the Hullavator. I've owned one for several years and have left it on the car throughout the winter. They work great. Definitely makes loading a kayak a breeze.

Any thoughts/opinions on using the Sunday lake dog sled trail in Algonquin Park? Fees apply but there is parking and a "groomed" trail to follow. Just cant walk without snowshoes or skis.

Sounds interesting. I like the idea of walking an established trail. Not fond of fees, but who is?
