    Hey Chard

    Just wanted mention - there's a full moon the weekend of January 19-20 with a total lunar eclipse on Sunday Jan 20.
    Eclipse starts about 10:15 and totally peaks at 12:15.

    I'll be in Killarney that weekend hiking - hopefully it's clear out !

    Sorry to hijack this thread

    Cheers

    That's really cool, but a Sunday overnighter kinda sucks for anyone needing to be at work Monday morning.

    Recently captured on my backyard trailcam ... careful lads, might want to pack a few pitchforks & torches.*

    * Silver bullets optional.

    (Apologies, I'm just acting out jealousy as I can't participate.)

    I have it on good advice that nothing soothes the lycanthrope's heart like a steaming bowl of pea soup, and with all of those muscles, he'd be a prefect moonlight portager. The trick is that we have to convince him to be a little more vegan.

    Feb 8th weekend works for me as well.

    I also plan to join in on the pre-winter-camping-symposium-shenanigans at Valens on the 23rd. (14 Days from now)

    Not to derail the thread to much but if anyone has Info on renting a Hot Tent for a few nights please PM me. Looking for something along the lines of a Snow Trekker EXP Basecamp.
