Solo hammock camp and a close encounter with a stag

While on holiday in Dartmoor National park I managed to grab an overnight hammock camp with the hope of capturing some wildlife and star trails. Didn't manage to get many photos but did have a "too close for comfort" encounter with a stag.
The sights and sounds of Dartmoor at night bring it home just what a wild place it is, a thoroughly enjoyable trip was had.

I thought for sure your dog was going to have a go at that top sirloin when your back was turned. Any idea how horny the stag was? 4? 6? 8?
The game is the best teacher.

Looks like you finally had to pack the wild bunch off to an orphanage? I miss them.
