Oh boy! Hope this is like the old NylonD! I have an old NylonD hammock that I've baby'd because it is my favorite hammock fabric.

    Thanks Dutch squad!

It's almost the same. It has a slightly different feel but really close. Not to mention we improved the strength of it by upgrading the yarn to Nylon 66!

    Alex-
Not super familiar with Dutch's naming scheme but is that an 8-way gridstop or 4 way diamond?
Cain't quite tell on the website picture.

I assume it not being named in the hexon family answers my question but figured I'd ask.

Added some Hexon to my latest batch of prototypes...

Is it just me but I can’t seem to find the weight limit for this fabric or others. I thought at one time there was an FAQ that explained all the fabrics with their weight limit.

Agreed! I can’t build something if I don’t know the limitations. Please provide specs.

I would rather be in the woods... my dog would rather be in the pool. My wife thinks we are both nuts.

I will be able to answer these questions in about a week. The NylonD is made from nylon6,6 is an upgrade form the old NylonD but I need to get the test results back on the tensile and tear strength. Plus I have some out being tested and of course I need to test it out myself. I believe it to be a little less than the Hexon 1.6 which of course is also made from nylon6,6 but it has a bit more stretch and a softer silkier feel to the textured cottony feel of Hexon 1.6.

So I guess this means it's a 40D fabric. I was hoping for 20/30D or 70D in wide, as there is little to no choice in that weight range. Are there any plans to go in that direction? 40D is a great choice for those wanting to go sensibly light and don't mind the stretch. If you can't tolerate the stretch but still want a couple more inches of width, you have to live with a pretty steep weight penalty

We are testing out a 70D wide right now but it is not finished in production.
