Such a great guy to be around. 58 is way to young.

I just noticed this and it makes me very sad. I enjoyed talking with Marty and coming up with new ideas. Man I hate to hear this news. Very sad. We have lost a very good guy!

It's me It's me It's Mr.T
I'm not sure it was that exact steak meal or another visit...but probably not that critical.
I spoke with Marty not long before and not long after you were there.
We spoke about you; He had the right things to say at the right time that led to a few things I will likely remember for the rest of my life.
Not *** kissing superfluous bullshartin nice things about a buddy; but the right things from a straight shooting fella.
Just because one doesn't get on a backpacking trip as often as we'd like, doesn't mean we've left the trail or the magic behind.
That he wanted donations given to the humane society speaks volumes to the mans character... Bought a hammock, tarp, and 3 premium quilts from him, nice to know I was buying from a good man.
My daughter has a custom Snipe marty made for her. She just " had to have it" in a blue fabric and marty made her day. Our home will always remember the kindness and effort he spent on people. He will be missed!
I only knew Marty for a few years but when I talked to him on the phone for the first time and when we met in person he was the type person that I thought I had known for most of my life. When we arrived to his shop, he gave us a warm welcome and short tour. He drove me and Groundhog into Thomasville to one of his little go to grill/burger joints for a nice lunch. He didn't even hesitate when I asked him to help me design and build a custom Thin-Blue-Line top quilt for me and later him and Betty added it to their line of custom quilt options. He was that type of guy and will be missed very much but I'll remember him often. Prayers to Betty and the whole Wilderness Logics family.
