It is sooooo hard to be at work today. I am super excited to attend my first group hang and meet everyone. I think my son is even more excited than I am. We worked on sewing a foot box into an old sleeping bag that he uses in his full time hammock at home last night. The zipper got chewed up when he washed it last time so we converted it to a top quilt. I am pretty sure he will probably be all packed up by the time I get home from work tonight. Hoping to hit the road around 8 tomorrow and be there around 10.
Just a note, please stay clear of the garage door on the shed the owner needs to be able to get in and out

Ouch now I'm sad. ;P Sorry Karla not going to make it. I work in the sauna industry so strangely enough my busy time is the winter and I can't break out. Works out well for the hiking season though. I promise I'll hold a northern hang soon. My dad has a spread of 300 acres next to Lake Superior on the Bayfield Penn. which he's given me the ok for. I'll work out some details with you over PM later this winter. Have a great hang and enjoy the Shug! He's a splendid fellow.

You are one of those HF members who I've messaged many times and can't wait to meet in person. Well, dang it. It wasn't meant to be this time around. Uff-da. I understand when you have to work and can't attend a hang. It sucks, but #adulting.
I am hoping to make it to the Apostle Islands with a meetup group this summer. Maybe we can get that hang in too when I'm up there!
