My condolences to his family and community - such sad news.
A couple years ago I ordered a Lazy Slug Tube for an upcoming canoe trip. The estimated date was uncomfortably close to the start of my trip and I kinda' freaked. I called and left a message asking to expedite my order - I suppose I sounded panicked on the message. Marty called me back in a couple hours and assured me that the LST would be delivered in plenty of time. He was kind and confident when he called easing my worry. I am grateful for his kindness and lucky to have crossed his path.

Terrible news - Didn't know Marty personally but did some business with him and his customer service and attention to detail was second to none. He was really my first foray into the cottage vendor market and what a great experience to purchase a product from someone who was responsive and willing to answer all the dumb questions from someone moving from tent camping to hammock camping. Just a great guy - will be missed.

So Sad. Marty's creations were perfect, my first new gear was from OWL.

Marty was very helpful the times I spoke to him via the telephone. Just so sad.

I’m so sorry to hear this news. Marty was instrumental in helping this old man start backpacking again and get into a hammock. I’ve never met Marty, but through our phone discussions he was such a great guy.

I am very saddened by this news. Just home from a two night trip and slept and dreamed comfortably on one of his down pillows.
Always tough to lose on of our Tribe.

Very sorry to hear. Just got an Old Man Winter for wet weather here in UK. It is great. Marty truly helpful and great to do business with.
Marty's family and all at Wilderness Logistics are in my thoughts.
