Perhaps it’s more useful application is as a bug net alternative. So yes, it is one fabric that has two unique applications as well as many other general uses.
You’ve made many posts about your excitement for using this as bug netting/top cover. I’m curious to know why you’re so excited for this application. While it can certainly be used, it heavier and slightly less breatheable than noseeum, but also WAY more breathable than traditional fabrics so you’ll get virtually none of the wind resistant properties of traditional fabrics so what are you hoping to gain? An indestructible bug net?

Just asking because it’s clearly not a fabric that’s suitable for a “top cover” in the traditional sense, and it’s heavier than noseeum mesh which I’ve had zero durability problems with.

I'm thinking this would be a great home lounging hammock for those at the weight limit, like me. Especially in summer with that cooling ventilation!
I may be cautious about taking it on the trail. But then I don't lounge on the trail, so night views are all pretty much dark, LOL.

The jump in durability for a nominal weight gain is the kind of tradeoff I like to look out for in general. I like trying new things too.

Not hammock related but I bet this would be great for an inner tent. Lots of breathability but would likely keep dust out, plus it would be more durable than mesh.

I'm currently on the other side of the world where it's midnight (and I'm pretty tired), but thought I'd drop this here... Official and long awaited announcements coming soon
