MAHAA Oct 12-14 2018 TRIP REPORT

Many thanks to Dutch and crew for all the organizing for this event, to all the vendors who donated to the raffle, to all the cooks who made the delicious food, to the fire masters that kept us warm, and to all the hearty campers for a wonderful time.

I was especially glad for the chokecherry lesson from Stabbastion.

My thermometer had our Saturday night low at 35 degrees, so fall is here.

I enjoyed the camping.

Sorry to all who had their taste buds tuned to apple crisp. We were on the way but redirected to the ER and had to spend the weekend. We were so looking forward to another great MAHHA, but had no choice but to abort. Bummer. We'll have to relive through the stories of others, so bring 'em on!

I was wondering where you were and hoping that you are okay. I hope all is well with you and spouse. I guess you now have a lot of apple crisp to enjoy this week.

I dont know what this is, and I think its bad that the 1st thing that came to mind was something BDSM.

Had a great time this year hanging out with the coolest bunch (Hammer and Nail). Big fires, great people and great food!
What did everyone think of the pulled pork?

It is a bush that I always thought was a weed, but was an important source of food for native americans. Very bitter, hence the name "choke cherry". I am thinking about trying to make vinegar out of it. I need to find a good bush for picking.
