Where to buy extra wide dyneema fabric?

Does anyone know where I can buy extra-wide 0.5 oz dyneema fabric? Ripstopbytheroll.com only has pieces that are 54" wide.

However, the dyneema tarps that Hammock Gear sells (12' x 8'6") don't have a sewn seem so apparently they have a source of very large pieces of dyneema fabric. Anyone know where I can get some? It's for a DIY project.

    Thanks so much!

HG doesn't have a sewn seem, cuz they are taped together. Material is still only 54" wide.

Yes, it seems they’d make a tarp without seams.
It’s probably a money thing. I’m happy with my HG tarp, I reckon it’s got taped seams.

Tape strengthens the tarp, whereas sewn seam would weaken it (a bit).

Sewing a dyneema "cloth" would not weaken it as the fibers provide all the strength and sewing it does not affect the fibers. However. the puncture hole would affect waterproofness.

Taping/bonding the membrane material provides a very strong joint.

But yes, the dyneema tarps do have seams.

Since I believe this stuff was made for sails, are they really taping together a bunch of 54" wide fabric? It seems like there would be a source for really wide material somewhere.
