Returned from our trip, cut a day short as the weather turn out to be far worse than expected (Saturday 9a-3p continuous rain/snow mix, ugh!). So, we only had 1 night out.

My son, using my HH ULA, top quilt and a 3/4 20F UQ was mostly warm. I didn't drive home the importance of keeping the UQ in place and making sure you actually sleep over the UQ. Easy to do if you kick the quilt's suspension lines a bit too often overnight.

I did alright but I setup my hammock in the dark after he went to bed, so I had to sort of guess if the UQ was on correctly. And, it was a bit warm when I went to bed so I really didn't notice or care. Eventually I realized that my jury rigged suspension was pulling the UQ too tight (lengthwise) causing the down pockets to become crushed. Once I loosened the suspension I felt better but there are still a few things I would tweak if I were to go this route again.
