Try these numbers. The picture you have looks more like a GE hang than the proper bridge hang.

Specific set up was. Ridgeline was 146", Baseline was 77" between the
innermost poles, Head was set to 49.5" high, Foot to 52" high. All of
these are Tensa4 measurements - and no I didn't set it this precisely
    - did what worked then took a tape measure to it.

Head of the RR: The small amsteel continuous loop was put over the
closer of the head poles. The foot end: The triangular suspension
was put over the closer of the foot poles and then each side was
    looped over that pole.

I tethered both ends, but the head only loosely. It seems to make
    entry and exit more stable.
Come check out the Tensa4 tensahedron stand and other hammock stands at http://www.TensaOutdoor.com and [email protected]

Here is a couple pictures of mine with RR on it.
Keep messing around with it. You'll find the spot.

Thanks, Shug. I’ve been looking at these pics, too. I have the RR head end on the side with the outside base poles. I was trying to get some extra width for my shoulders.

Did you loop anything special at the top?

Thanks for the specifics. I’ll try that out.

Was the ridgeline loose? Each time I tried, the ridgeline was *very* loose after I sat down.

[QUOTE=Latherdome;1955279]I have been surprised to see Shug’s bridge setup. I couldn’t make it work so well with the base so wide. I have instead set it up with the base very narrow, about 3-4 feet only. This puts the poles under the spreaders, not beside them. Same with JRB BMB.

I also keep the base narrow when I use my ridge runner. I think it works better that way. The Only problem is when you get out of the hammock too fast the spreader bar will sometimes go in between the poles on the tensa. Other than that I think it works great.

I don't think I did as I can see my strap dangling.

Shugs photos in this thread have been discussed in the past. The way he has it set up in the photos looks good, but it does look like the bridge suspension is shorter at the head end than the foot end, while normally they're equal length. Here are some links to earlier posts where it was discussed.

Just picked up a Tensa4... first thing I LOVE THIS STAND!!!!

Spent some time today dialing in the Ridgerunner for my son and wife this season. Found that a narrow baseline about 44-48” with the max ridgeline length did the trick. We looped the dog bones around the poles and got a perfect spot.

Amazing! Do you happen to know the length of that ridge line?

So many good comments, I may have to pick one of these up yet!

I am planning a long road trip driving down the coast, mostly car camping with a few excursions here and there. Their stand would come in handy when I am running late and find myself at a site with no decent trees.
