    10 ft 3/4" EMT or 1" EMT?

Brady, are you using a gathered end hammock, rather than a bridge? If so, I think that should go easier for you, less tricky.

Also, don't want to hijack, but does any one have pictures of a Hammocktent 90º used with this stand? In theory, if an Amok will work so would this one, if you can get it high enough. That HT90 requires the shortest distance between trees, and at the same time the straps highest on the trees, of any hammock I have used(exact opposite of my RR). I think I could get it high enough with a narrow base as is being shown here with a RR. But I'm wondering if I would then have contact with the poles.

1" EMT at full length, so 10'. I got it it to work but I should have been more clear, I thought this thread was about the Ridge Runner and the Tensahedron. If you're using other hammocks than that, won't have the issues I do with the spreader bars. All good now unless you have a RR and some tips for using it! Thank you

It is about use with the RR, I apologize I was hijacking a bit, though I also have a RR so interested in both.

Does anyone have the finished dimensions of the tensa stand?

I left the poles 10' long because I didn't want to drill any holes further down the pole until I knew where to put them so I didn't weaken the poles if I got it wrong.

I have been struggling like crazy to get my DIY version to work with a Ridge Runner without constantly banging the spreader bars on the stand.

If I make the splay narrow (3-4'), the hammock is super high and a pain to get into, the head end spreader bars pretty much are laying on the stand itself and then has lots of sag in the hammock.

If I splay wide, it's lower, but the spreader bars still hit the stand with any little movement.

Any suggestions for those of you that this is working for?

Tensa4 poles are about 100”. Assembled dimensions vary widely, but poles that long give WBRR a reasonable seat height with a narrow stance and the poles 3-6 inches below the spreaders when the suspension triangles are attached directly to apexes.

Ok. I’m doing something wrong. I have the apex one both ends slipped over the pole, base is ~3-4 ft, and the poles are over the legs.

But ... at my head end the leg pole is right under my shoulder (I can bump it light if I shift), and the RR fabric pulls tight on the leg ( see pics) in a way that makes mildly concerned.

    Suggestions?

Also, the seat height is pretty dang high, even for me at 6’1”.
