Well folks, itÂ’s been a long time since IÂ’ve posted so I thought it would be fitting to post my most recent trip report.

I flew out to California with fellow hammock forums member and Marine Corps brother, OSUKevin. I also took my father (who hammocked for the first time) and another dear friend of ours from the Marine Corps. Originally our plan was to head up into Yosemite where we had trail passes for a trip that would take us from Tunnel View up to Glacier Point. Unfortunately as the time drew closer the Ferguson Fire forced us to change our plans. The week leading up to our arrival date was spent talking on the phone on three way as we were all coming from different parts of the Country. Kevin and Aaron were coming from Michigan and Missouri, respectively and I was flying in from Florida. Long story short, we decided to hit Kings Canyon and settled on a trail that would take us out to Seville Lake.
