Also are coolers ok in this outing, and how about food prep. Anyways thanks everyone, excited to meet you all.

Regarding the coolers as long you want to carry it "In and Out" you can bring whatever you prefer. I belive there is a $2.00 Minimun per vehicle at the entrance, you will see the kiosk and a large diamater metal pipe you deposit the envelop. Most of us add 5 dollars to help with the cause. Regarding food prep, you'll bring what ever you want to eat, I usualy like to bring something easy and quick that doent require much prep or clean up. Cheers! Look forway meeting you.

    Tropikal,

My phone keeps telling at me to autocorrect your name! Haha I think I figured the food out. Got a couple mountain meals and I have some MREs. I have a Sawyer gravity filter as well for water. Super excited to get out there and meet you guys. I plan to pitch in 10$ I think it is awesome that this type of meet up is grandfathered in. Still trying to figure out how quickly I can get over there Friday, might have to setup in the twilight. What are the average activities for the night?

I'll be out and bring my boys along. Since I let one of them use my bridge they're warming up to the idea of Hammocks. I might have to steal mine back though.... We might make it out Friday but more likely not until Saturday some time. Gotta get home because those video games aren't going to play themselves, right??

Most of us end up poorer here but richer for being here. Olddog, Fulltime hammocker, 365 nights a year.

Don't forget fishing in the creek daytime. I caught 2 monster bream for the Sherpa Hang in Spring. Hopefully they're still in there.
Enjoy and have fun with your family, before they have fun without you

Did some practicing of setting up this weekend. Only got the cops called on me once. Neighbor didn't recognize me, while I was using a vacant lot to set up. Haha that was funny. Then today spent some time at Lake Bonny in Lakeland. I have got a lot to learn and can't wait to get some pointers this weekend.
