Compression Sack for Lazy Slug Tube?

I'm considering moving to a Lazy Slug Tube setup. I'm getting tired of individually packing each item.

However, individually packing each item helps keep it compact in the backpack.

Can anyone recommend a compression sack (or technique) that will swallow a slug tube containing a hammock, two quilts, and a backpacker pillow?

Just tonight, prepping for an overnighter at Harriman, I packed my hammock, UQ, TQ w/silk liner, and neck pillow inside a zippered fronkey style net. Sorry no compression but it seems to fit in to the pack just fine this way. Well, it is inside a trash compactor bag.

Here's a quick video of what I do. I modified my underquilt protector to act kinda like a lazy slug tube. I stuff the whole bundle down into a trash compactor bag at the bottom of my pack. Squeezing the air out and twisting the top of the bag into a pig tail gets things packed down very compactly, uses the space in the bottom of my pack effectively, and keeps things dry.

I stuff it all in the slug tube, cinch up and then walk the length, stuffing it into the main compartment of my pack.

My tubes are pretty tightly packed. I leave my tq inside my hammock.. and uq attached and pillow. All into the slug tube and jammed into my pack. No dead air spots.

My LST swallows up all my gear then I shove it inside my pack liner. Fold and tuck the liner to keep the water out. Cram the water proof gear on top, cinch and close my pack. My pack does have compression straps - does that count?

I use a Sea To Summit compression dry bag. It is a XL size and it is too big but works. I have a ¾ length UQ and my TQ gets packed separately. If you have a full length UQ and leave your TQ in the hammock it would be the correct size. Can you get it in your pack? Compressed it is about 12 inches in diameter.

Edit It would fit in a smaller space if the compression bag was smaller.

I bought the mech version in hopes that it would allow air to escape easier. I won’t be able to test it until I get home on Monday.

Hammock, TQ, UQ, & pillow all stay inside a Pet Palace. All of that goes into a slug tube & then into a Kelty XL compression sack. Ends up no bigger than a volleyball.

I just put it on my compactor bag. I set my backpack with compactor bag under one end of the Hammock (typically the head end). I then disconnect the opposite end of the Hammock and walk it over to the pack and stuff directly into the compactor bag until I get to the end still attached to the suspension. Then I disconnect and finish stuffing making sure the continuous loop is on top for easy finding when I get ready to redeploy. Then just close the compactor bag.
This way, when I deploy the Hammock I attach the continuous loop sitting on top and simply allow the Hammock to pull itself out as I walk my backpack to the second attachment. After sliding back the LS, I’m basically done.
