Never saw Star Trek and never saw any other space foofaraw movie series that I can't remember the names of. I didn't have an iota of an inkling to see them. But I did see the Firefly series and the special sequel on Netflix and enjoyed the heck out of it. I would watch more if and when it comes around again.

I'm putting a hammock into this Firefly comic book cover

I had to get out my hand pistol to check the angle. Yep 30* checks out.

    Nice artwork btw.

Thank you! And I didn't even check the angle when I drew it... must be hard-wired by now.

Heh, came here to post the same compliment on the angle. Not only "normalizing" hammocks but teaching how to use them as well!

I have never watched / read Firefly but enough people whose taste I trust have told me I really should...

Amazing work. Thanks for sharing. I can’t wait to see the full color rendering.

More of a Morena Baccarin fan myself... but no complaints here.

Always fun to see the diverse group of folks drawn to hanging.

This is an early stage of the work - just pencils, before I do watercolor and ink, which I'll post later.

Anyway... HAMMOCKS: The cultural takeover is inevitable.

Very talented JCase but boots in the hammock is a no-no.

Not to worry, it is a double layer 2.2Hex70 Sparrow from DH. Plenty tough enough to handle the miscreant adventures of those two. It should be understood all the cast of Firefly is a bona fide miscreant to some degree or another
