    Sleeping bag for winter

    Hello everyone!

Does any of you have any experience with the Carinthia Survival Down 1000 sleeping bag og just the Carinthia Survival one?

I am looking for a sleeping bag that can handle a lot of cold, and really like the design og the Carinthia, because it has sleeves, witch I find really handy in a hammock.

Can you recommend any other good winter sleeping bags? I dont want a topquilt, I tried it, and it didnt work for me

never heard of the one you mention. I have a North Face Inferno -20 degree bag. I love it, super warm and still pretty light at 3 lb 5 oz. They also make a -40 version.

I have a Feathered Friends Snowy Owl and LOVE it. It's a -60 bag and has served me very well in super cold temps here in Ontario.

I have a North Face -40 bag, left from my tent days, that I have used as a top quilt. It worked okay except the hood would need to be tucked in when using it as a top quilt.

I now have a 0 degree diy top quilt that I use.

Never heard of it before but the zipper on top would make it easier in a hammock.
But any good quality sleeping bag should do fine that is rated to the temps you expect to get out in.
